Jesus Paid It All - RCC Choir - 1995

This piece from our bygone days is different: it is a stock publication, and I usually only make videos of my arrangements and compositions so I don't get thrown in jail. I have therefore hidden most of the piano score. This choral outing is one of the all-time best I can recall and have the proof of. First, I can say no better compliment to the arranger than, I wish I had written this. Second, to have such a performance, everything has to go right: the singers have to sing with straight, warm tones, the unisons must be immaculate (esp. the pure unisons: those in which the men and women are singing the same tone,.. and it sounds so good it hurts); the changes in tempos and dynamic contrast must be compelling; and the recording has to be spot on, with a good balance between piano and choir, and an ambient stereo spectrum in the composite sound: all of this happened on this day back when. I offer it to you as a remembrance of how great was the Lord's blessing on us in those joyous times (Palm Sunday Concert, 1995).
