Slideshow: Greater Miami Symphonic Band - July 4th. 2001

The year was 2001, and this is no longer the RCC Choir, but the para-church chorale, the Redland Singers. However, most of the same personnel are involved, with a few additions. The location is the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables.

Norris Siert, the band president and alto sax player, wonders about fame and fortune.

Sitting third on that front row is Adelaide Gonzalez, who was with us all the way at RCC. She was a valuable part of a towering soprano section, along with Katie, Becky Spence, and Peggy Hunt (poking Katie in the shoulder). Any choral director will tell you: start with stellar sopranos on your way to a really great choir.
